WELCOME TO VOLUNTEER EMERGENCY SERVICES LEGACY
VESL (Volunteer Emergency Services Legacy) was originally established for those left behind – in the widows, widowers, partners and dependant children of deceased volunteer emergency service personnel killed or died in the course of their authorised duties.
In time the Legacy intends to expand its duties to be more responsive to those emergency service volunteers totally and permanently incapacitated, mentally, psychologically or physically as a result of their volunteer emergency service duties.
The VESL Legacy does not replace insurance or compensatory schemes already in place. The VESL Legacy provides extra assistance because it cares for the volunteer emergency services personnel’s contribution to protecting life, property and nature of our vast communities nationally.
Our Vision!
The charity that supports the families of accredited volunteer emergency services personnel impacted by loss.
Our Purpose!
Provide support and assistance nationally for the families of deceased accredited volunteer emergency services personnel.
